Mathematics and Philosophy (click here)

Why bother with reality when we can just resort to Mathematics?
But is Mathematics real? What do we mean by being real and can it be real in a
mathematical way? How does mathematics deal with existence?

And is a mathematical truth, if such a thing exists, worthwhile? What are the consequences
of stating that objective reality exists? We will present a brief introduction to a
mathematical approach to looking at physical reality, if such a thing exists, and try to determine
if some of the solutions we find make any difference in our lives.
